CNC Cutting Machine

The Koike Aronson PlatePro ® is a single side drive, CNC controlled, multi-tool gantry cutting machine. Available effective cutting widths range from 5 to 8 feet and effective cutting lengths of 10, 12, 20, and 24 feet. Koike Aronson, Inc. can supply either a water or downdraft cutting table. Engineering drawing packages for cutting tables are also available.

The machine's rigid structure and accompanying rack and pinion drive system support rapid traverse speeds of 600 inches per minute while maintaining required accuracies at cutting speeds.

The featured control on the PlatePro® is the PC-based KARCNCx control by Koike Aronson, Inc. The operating system on the KARCNCx is Microsoft XP. The KARCNCx utilizes two microprocessors, one processor is dedicated to programming and the other is dedicated to motion, making true multi-tasking possible. The KARCNCx features a 12.1" TFT SVGA color flat panel display.

Communication with the KARCNCx is possible using the following standard interfaces: 1.44 MB-3.5" internal floppy drive, USB port, network card, or a RS-232 9-pin D-sub connector.

The PlatePro® supports up to four cutting tools. Plasma cutting systems that are supported on the PlatePro® are supplied by manufacturers such as Hypertherm, Innerlogic, and Thermal Dynamics.
