Hyd-Mech Vertical Band Saws

The V-Series saws are built to last and deliver non-stop performances. These are heavy-duty, high-performance vertical tilt-head saws that have the flexibility for cutting 2-way miters. The V Series is available in semi-automatic and automatic modes of operation with cutting capacities up to 30" and barfeeds from 40” to 120”.

Most of these saws miter up to 45º left or right, while the VW-18 and V-25 models miter up to 60º in both directions. The V-25 model includes a standard canted sawing head. Canted sawing heads are available as options on all other saws in this V Series.

  VW-18 II
  	The VW-18 II is a semi-automatic vertical band saw with the ability to miter from 60° left to 60° right. This model is one of a kind in the Hyd-Mech line up with its saw head that can cut at 90° and be adjusted to cut at a 3° head cant. Now available with optional powered head tilt and digital angle display. Featuring a 22"H x 18"W capacity, 5 HP motor, and 1 1/4" blade, the VW18 II is a reliable choice for all your light to medium-duty, vertical metal cutting applications.

  	The V-18 is a semi-automatic vertical band saw with the ability to miter from 45° left to 45° right. A 2 HP driven hydraulic pump supplies system pressure through three position directional valves controlling all vising, head advance/retract, blade tension, and guide arm movement. Its optional 6° degree canted head, recommended when cutting larger beams, structural steel, and bundles of square tubing allows for more efficient cutting and improved blade life. Featuring a 20"H x 18"W capacity, 7.5 HP motor, and 1 1/4" blade, the V-18 is a reliable choice for all your vertical metal cutting applications.

  	The V-18APC is an automatic vertical band saw with the ability to miter from 45° left to 45° right. The V-18APC is fast, with its high speed shuttle feed indexing up to 40" in a single movement. A 2 HP driven hydraulic pump supplies system pressure through 3-position directional valves controlling all vising, head swing, head advance/retract, blade tension, guide arm, and shuttle movement. Its PLC control features storage of up to 99 jobs with the ability to run 5 in queue. Featuring a 20"H x 18"W capacity, 7.5 HP motor, and 1 1/4" blade, the V-18APC is a reliable choice for all your vertical metal cutting applications.

  	The V-25 is a semi-automatic vertical band saw with the ability to miter from 60° left to 60° right. A 3 HP driven hydraulic pump supplies system pressure through both a two and three position directional valves controlling all vises, head swing, head advance/retract, blade tension, and guide arm movement. Its standard 6° degree canted head allows for more efficient cutting and improved blade life.
